We know outdoor retail.
Every team member at Stoner//Andrews earned their stripes in the shop.
From wrenching to buying to managing, here's how we got here and who we are:
Allison joined Stoner//Andrews in 2006 after building 6 years of experience in outdoor retail management, buying, and marketing at the Alpine Shop in Vermont. During her years with Stoner//Andrews, she has also volunteered time to serve as President of Eastern Outdoor Reps Association, the organization that connects reps and retailers with regional trade shows. A native Vermonter, you can often find her mountain biking, skiing, wakeskating, or playing the saxophone.
Scott's first introduction to the outdoor business was through his passion for downhill and cross country skiing. He worked retail at the Alpine Shop in South Burlington while in school and moved into repping in 1978. His early career crossed paths with Rick Stoner and the two established Stoner//Andrews in 1987.

Jason grew up in Massachusetts and began working in the outdoor industry at Eastern Mountain Sports in 1998. In 2008, he moved back east from the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked as a retail buyer and manager. Most recently, he was a softgoods buyer at the Outdoor Gear Exchange in Burlington, VT. Jason gets outside to hike, ski, or bike with his wife, Siersha, and two children, Cosette and Henry. And when circumstances keep him indoors, he can be found playing the guitar, brewing beer, or inciting potty-talk with his kids.

Val grew up in Rhode Island, where she began racing road bikes and cyclocross early on. She jokes that she graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Cycling, having spent as much time on a bike as possible. Val spent 8 years working in bike shops, from part-time wrenching to full-time buyer. Now in Vermont, she spends her non-bike time in the woods hiking, working in her garden, or camping out of her van.
NH, eastern MA, ME
Mike first got his feet wet in the outdoor industry during his college years at East Stroudsburg University. A jack-of-all-trades, Mike did everything from ski lifty to rafting assistant to NJ high angle rescue. After college he joined Kittery Trading Post where he quickly became involved in product improvement. This lead to a position at Riverside Cartop Carriers, where he developed 13 different products and serviced accounts. With Stoner//Andrews since 2012, Mike can often be found kayak surfing at Long Sands Beach in Maine, or running the beautiful coast of NH when not chasing his two children.
Rachel didn’t grow up in New England, but it was where her heart longed to be. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, she stayed to enjoy everything the Ocean State has to offer - surfing, fishing, and paddling – and just never left. She traded journalism for a career in the outdoor industry, eventually finding her niche in paddlesports. She has worked on both sides of the retail/wholesale relationship and enjoys using her experience to help retail buyers succeed. Her land-based pursuits include gardening, skiing, biking, and hiking with dogs that don’t belong to her.
